Small Webradio

Hi Ben,

 

I live in a country side and often when i am listening to radio the signal is crappy, so i need to boot up my notebook to listen to the

radio station online by connecting it to my stero.

 

I suggest to build a small webradio station, where you can give a couple (maybe 10) webradio urls. Build should be as small as possible and just

have two buttons to switch between the channels.

 

This would also be a great gift for my grandparents.

  • I used a Raspberry Pi Model B board for a similar project. In my case the control was done through the web.

    A small board to run Linux would be all that is needed for such a project. If the given board doesn't provide audio outputs, but USB ports, a cheap USB audio board would be just fine.
