Binary wall/wrist clock/watch

I am a freshman at my community college in industrial electronics. I have recently started my own project creating a Binary clock that is simply plugged into the wall. But I am even more interested in creating a Binary wrist watch. I would love for you, (Ben Heck) to take up the challenge. I hope you do. Thank you

  • The thing I love about learning electronics is the simple fact that I like knowing how to do it and knowing how it works. What's the point of doing any of this if you can simply know that you can buy it? That's no fun. The enjoyment comes from doing it yourself. I don't care if it's already been done. Lol I love doing it myself, knowing how to do it and knowing how it works. Plain and simple. I would think that's why most go into engineering. Not JUST inventing.

    I fully agree with your comments, Most of the fun is overcoming obstacles and learning new skills. You might want to investigate approaches to building your own binary watch. I'm sure the community would be happy to support. image
