I have two dead laptops, and i was thinking that would be so great if i was able to remove the mother board and use a Raspberry Pi or those Android board like ODROID , AllWinner, etc, as motherboard replacement , or at least be able to re use their screen and connect it on those devices

what do you think ? image

I have seen that with enough poking around at resources for the individual parts necessary it is possible to make a mobile PC using a microcontroller like the RPi as the core system, however you'll be looking at all new parts (which claim your HDMI and USB ports and need their own power supplies) as well as a custom enclosure, not an existent laptop being converted up.  Like Samuel Doye said, because of the way they're built most accessories for a laptop have drivers built right into the motherboard, so you'd need at least a driver board for the monitor, the mouse and the keyboard.  Some of it is as simple as getting a board from a wholesale distributor and connecting the plugs/ribbons, while some of it is as complicated as ordering a vague driver IC, programming it yourself, and embedding it into a PCB you had to custom order.

All that said, doing either can be pretty rewarding.
