How about making a portable console into a home console, like a PSP. I've read the newer versions over the 1000 model can plug in to a TV, and you can do this with the 1000 model IF it has Custom Firmware, through a computer. It be cool to see something that looks and feels a little more solid like adding an external controller, rather than it being like those cheap plug-and-play systems. I've also seen people wire a Gamecube controller to a 3DS, for games like Smash Bros. and well why not give it the ability to display on a bigger screen, that would just leave the question of the touchscreen.
