SD Card Breakdown

Hi Ben,

 

this easter we took a lot of very nice photos, some Family pictures and many other, also from my litle daughter.

Finaly we wanted to copy all the pictures to our pc. Somehow our sdcard bended a little bit so that a view of the

pins on the nand chips dont have contact to the pcb anymore.

I wonder if you have a solution how to fix this. Or maybe come up with a view ideas. Maybe build a small nand reader?!

I tried mostly everything.

    In the past i was able just to soldder them back on, another way to handly this would be to use some "foamy-Stuff" to give presure on to the pins to connect them back to the pcb, since i guess not all pins are off from the board....they should lineup to their contacts pretty well, then solder some short cables on to them and solder them also on to the pins of an normal cardreader....

     

    Could you provide us a photo of the pcb and the chip, so that we could have a look on to the described problem?
