The Sega Game Gear is a cool system, but none can deny its bulk and battery cost make it hard to take around. Enter the Sonic Chaos & Spinball Plug'n'Play game, a 2005 release which put Sonic Chaos and Sonic Spinball (both Game Gear versions) onto a small plug'n'play controller. No mere emulation machine, the main board is actually a tiny Sega Game Gear, with d-pad and 3 buttons, composite video and mono sound output, that uses 3AA batteries as a power source. With a cartridge slot and a modern, efficient color LCD, this plucky plug'n'play could be reborn into to a new, more pocket-friendly solution to your portable Sega needs, and not to mention it could give those pesky Lynxheads something to chew on. I do not know of anyone having successfully completed such a mod, and as an old fan of Ben's work and a big Sega junkie, I would love to see Ben take this challenge. Hope you consider this one!
PS - Just messing with the Lynxhead comment. I'm a Lynx fan too, no hate for an Atari great!
