Diy Projector

tb1012

so i have made a shoe box type Projector using my phone, magnifying glass, and magnifying sheet. it works if i use a pitch black room but can be improved on. i have a old portable dvd player that does not work so i salvaged the 6.2 screen to use. also will get a raspberry pi to use with the screen and LED light. i have seen other videos on how to go about this but im sure Ben could do a much better job at it image  also still waiting to see him make a Pip boy image

I have also made a shoe box projector and know the grief you have with it. My second try at a projector I used a old overhead projector a local school was selling, a small 10 inche hdmil capable tv I found on banggood, and a PI. Brighter, but so much more balky.  I used it a couple of time to run a portable drive in theater for family and friends. I need to shrink it down to make it more portable. I used a small gas generator to power the projector, PI, and my hot air popcorn maker. I used a modified fm transmitter plugged into the PI's audio jack to transmit the sound. This year I am going to try and use the Pi' to transmit sound using the pirate radio station hack that Make.com has posted.

Maybe Ben can help us both out with a design we can follow.

Same here, smaller the better. Battery power might not be able with my rig hence a battery powered rig would be great.
