Raspberry Pi 3 Magic Mirror

Oooor, maybe using something other than Windows, but I guess using Windows 10 for IoT would be very cool. We don't see many projects out there using that!

It could even work with the pill reminder!

  • I think you would need to add some sort of a new dimension to it, otherwise as a Win 10 for IoT project it has already been done and the build documented and shared.

     

    On the physical side, it is basically a display placed behind a mirror and turned into a digital signage solution. Microsoft have enhanced that a little by adding in some facial recognition. I've seen something similar done with a Kinect camera to incorporate gesture recognition and turn it into interactive digital signage.

     

    I think there is some scope to extend the functionality of the pill reminder and as you suggest it could be adapted so as to provide a data feed which can be consumed by other technologies.
