Mentioned before, but I'd like to see a smart mailbox that can let you know when mail has been delivered, picked up, the status of the flag (maybe even automatically put it up/down?), have a camera that shows you the contents, notify when doors are opened/closed (front, back, locked compartment, etc.), and maybe even serve as a small weather station or curbside motion detect camera? Wireless would be great (power AND network), as not everyone can trench power or Cat6 to the curb. Probably need to use one of the larger, locking mailboxes (mailboxes.com) to keep everything secure.
