HUD (projection or see-through LCD)

Hello Ben Hack Show,

I recently subscribed your channel and have been enjoying so much since then.

I knew The show exists but I couldn't understand much in previous but now my interests fully involved and focused into your show.

I believe my knowledge is better than before that's why I can understand better what show is talking about image

Also many of topics are so helpful to my small future projects and making.

Long time ago, I made navigation system that was combined with PDA, navigation Software, GPS module together.

Currently, I am using Garmin because of small size on my dash board and out of date navigation map too.

My future project is the HUD which safety item and if I could make tham ouf of old devices, it would be FUN

I bought adapters to deliver Google map of my cell phone  to the Mod. see-through TFT LCD  by Micro USB to HDMI or VGA adapter or RCA

There are two obstacles due to my lack of engineering knowledge

1) How to mod or hack old LCD into transparent LCD : Ipaq H3630 LCD and 17" TFT LCD panel without backlight panel were blur and dark background and not clear with day light.

2) How to deliver the my cell phone google map(navi) into mod see-through LCD : I bought two different adapter (MicroUSB to HDMI and Micro USB to VGA) to deliver screen data but I think a rearview small LCD display will be easiest way to share screen with cell phone but still nothing close HUD.

I hope Ben Hack Show can show me the way.

Thank you and take care,

YK

all LCDs are see threw but normally they have a back to prevent you from seeing threw it and to hold the back lighting so the images can be seen.
