Another Portable Retro Gaming Console Build :)

sir Ben good day,

I know you already build a ton of portable gaming consoles in the past, it would be awesome to see you build a portable version of this console.

This will be 1 of my future projects once I know more about electronics (planning to get a short course for it image).

More power to the TBHS!!!

That looks like another Chinese ripoff of the NES. Is it something else? I've never heard of it, so I'm not sure how we'd get our hands on one.

Its the Fam Com which was the original Nintendo game console that was released in Japan.  When they brought it over to the states they were worried it would not sell if it had the word "family" in it which was supposedly considered not cool in America whereas there were no such negative connotations in Japan.   They took out the word Family and simply rebranded it Nintendo Entertainment System so it would be more palatable to the west.

I believe as far as hardware goes its the same specs as the Nintendo Entertainment System.  You can find them on ebay but in the end what you'd wind up with is a portable NES and not sure if the end product would be any different than if you started out with a regular NES.
