xbox slim as a robot

while it couldn`t be done as a 3 part episode turning an xbox slim into a loki style robot would be a great challenge for ben and his team to have a go at and it could probably be done as a long term project like the pinball machines were, here is the link for loki Shinsel Robots – Hobby robots built by Dave Shinsel

  • I have seen small robotic rovers built from a xbox 360 control but not the actual xbox 360 and even then the drone needed to be tethered to a pc. The hard ware inside a gamming consol is closer to a smart tv with a dvd/blu ray drive then a computer. They use a propietary code that they run on. Other than when a controler with a rumbleer in it and is physically connected, does it output a single to move. A rasberry Pi you cau have the gpio pins to connect motors to. I do not think that this idea is even possible. I am sorry to say that and you might haste me for it but this is only my oppnion.
