Think big!

joaojotta

So, I was watching the PlayStation 4 Slim Teardown and you were talking about a portable version... why not think big?

How about a hybrid TV with the smaller X-Box and PS4 integrated, a side panel for drives and USB ports, etc.. And even a custom drive bay so you could swap the hard drives on the go for both consoles?

Anyway, keep up the great shows!

(and keep Felix talking about Linux!!)

best regards,

João Jotta

well other than the increased heat being horrible for the screen there is also the placement of boards. Put it simply most LCDand Led have there power board and the system board located centrally of the back of the panel leaving usally about a 4 to 5 inch space between each board and the endge of the top and bottom of the screen. The back of the tv has a metal shiled so each board sits in a indent and has standoff to keep the board from touching the back of the tv. If you could find space to put a baord then you would have to find a way to attach the game system power and system boards to the metal back of the screen with out it touching the metal. Once attached then the back cover would not fit and would not have the openincs to attack any cables you need to attach, such as power. Finally as I stated at the begining, the increased heat will cause the screen to either darken continually to you could see nothing or it the plastic will melt and start on fire.
