Wireless guitar system

Hello,

I love playing my electric guitar but there's one problem with it...the cable. Can you make (as inexpensively as possible ) a wireless system for a electric guitar (thru WiFi, bluetooth, FM, whatever) that will solve this? It would really make life a lot easier .

PS: one to one system is really good enough

It looks like you can buy a transmitter/receiver set for as low as $40. Are you simply looking for a DIY/homebrew solution?

Yes .. Im looking for DIY solution cause ...I dont know 40 bucks seems little too much I guess.
I was thinking that It would be an interesting project! :D

I'm not sure how much you'd save after adding up all the parts it would take to homebrew one, but we'll consider it.
