My idea is taking a Wii U and turning it into an Arcade machine. Primarily for Smash 4 tournament play. People play Smash 4 competitively, they use Gamecube Controllers via a Gamecube adapter. So I thought about how cool it would be if you walked into a venue, walked to this Arcade machine, picked up a controller (wired or wireless[That's your choice]) sat down in one of two chairs similar to those racing game chairs. And you can play Smash 4 like that, no need to bring your own console or tv, the venue has an all in one packet. It would be so cool and I think the arcade set-up would work great because people don't play Smash Bros standing. You could put the Wii U gamepad where normally the buttons on the arcade would be and you can navigate the console menu via the Wii U touch screen. That part could use some modding but I feel y'all would make it awesome. It would be a modern twist on an Arcade system, using an actually console to run it. You could even make it so the disc can be inserted from outside. The disc slot should be covered and lockable as to avoid theft. Smash Bros art and Nintendo's logo on the Arcade system would be an awesome image. I know y'all can make this project and make it awesome.
