Build something akin to Fallout 4's Pip-Boy 3000 using 3D printing and a Raspberry Pi (3 or Zero W).

It seems to be a periodic theme on this site: Bill Hoffer posted some video links here: https://www.element14.com/community/message/153863/l/a-fully-functional-pip-boy#153863

For those of us that have no idea what a Pip-Boy 3000 is do you have any description/links of what you are thinking of?

Cool, I could have always asked my son or looked it up myself.  But thought if the o.p. had a specific vision from a linked address that would be best.  Now I get to look at some of these shared links!  :-)

Lol, checked out the links. Very cool.  Wonder if any members have one of the mockups from the game they would donate to let it be the design/donor for a build.

Well, it was a limited issue deal. I don't think there will be anyone who will willingly send in their Pip-Boy as a reference. But hey, there's this thing called "3D Printing". Perhaps someone can made a model on thingiverse (or whatever service Ben uses) and email it.

I found this as well while looking at 3d print files.  Very interesting, and I had to run away quickly since it was pulling me away from my own wrist based computer design that I need to get working.  :-)
