I'm not sure if it's the exact one he used, but it is a 5v switching power regulator. It's $6.95 on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-Terminal-5V-1A-Switching-Voltage-Regulator-Power-Supply-/261243604047?autorefresh=true ,hope it helps!

is your teensy code available anywhere? i am less than useless when it comes to programing but building i can do! i am planing to recreate this mod in much more useable (for me) way adding a 7" LCD to it but i may have to end up using an iPac (very large) for my controls if i can't figure out this teensy thing! any help would be great

The screen is a cheap car TFT display can be found at Amazon or ebay by searching: Car TFT.

YAY the teensy rules! It's my favorite Arduino clone.

One might want to add a "keyboard" mode. The Teensy can pretend to be a keyboard. You could program in all the MAME controls directly and not have to configure MAME at all. I put this mode into an arcade joystick I built out of a teensy.

I wish they would sell a PI as a kit with only the surface mount parts attached. The you just add what you needed, IF you needed it.
