Its that time of the millennium again, time for another Star Wars movie and we thought it would be appropriate to make a Star Wars themed build  to coincide with the release of the movie.  In this episode Ben, Karen and Felix set out to build an R2-D2 can cooler for your Star Wars cooling needs.

While the current design closes after a certain amount of time, the original plan was to add a sensor that would detect an obstruction in the opening and only close if the opening was clear.

Pretty awesome! What happens if you are digging to find the right soda and r2 starts closing the hatch?

Nice job Ben and team, but just looking at the way Karen was waving her hand, the 'force' was going form the right to the left, and the R2 top was going left to right.

Wouldn't you want this so if she started the 'force' from right to left it would open, and then left to right would close it?
