In the spirit of Halloween, Ben gets to work on a prank candy bowl that's sure to scare your friends and trick-or-treaters. The first step is getting the bowl to move mechanically. Ben tries out a few ideas before getting to work constructing a spring-loaded arm.

    Hi Ben,

    Ok, so I'm a little behind in my email...  This is a cool project, I had hoped you'd be able to do it with magnets, and possibly a servo controlled arm under the table to have it skitter around, but this is a pretty neat solution.  I don't see a way to reset the bowl, is this done each time manually?

    I am a TOTAL Noob at electronics, really.  Not kidding.  Is there a way to get some kind of plans?  perhaps drawn in crayon?  I figure if I start now, I might be able to make one of these by Halloweeen 2014!
