After a few online and in-store attempts, we finally got our hands on a SNES Classic. (Keep your eyes peeled for that teardown video.) Ever since the mini systems came out, we've been getting constant requests to turn the NES Mini or SNES Mini into a handheld portable. After cracking them open and seeing the hardware inside, Ben decided that rather than trying to incorporate the hardware from either system, it would be more fun and challenging to try to make the smallest handheld possible. Naturally, Ben started with a Raspberry Pi. In an attempt to use up some older hardware, he selected a model A+ then got to work in making a super-thin handheld. Here's his work in progress so far.
Look how thin it is so far!
There's another secret feature to this particular build. Can you guess what it is?
