A new idea for a new era

Dear Ben,

I have an idea that I hope will catch your eye. My idea is to build a portable, hand-held system that can read SD cards with emulators and ROMS on it. I believe this idea is good because a younger generation is interested in the 8-bit community and they want to play the games. But because it is a younger community they do not have the games or systems to play them. With this device you can put emulators on an SD card and ROMS and play ATARI, NES, SNES, and other systems without a cartridge. This design is good because you could use an old Gameboy case and add buttons and it would not be too hard.

                       Thanks Ben for considering this,

                                   Nick Streiff

Like a portable uzebox... there are other's, more modern ones takes on the uzebox idea, I just don't remember the names off the top of my head.

If you're talking something with enough umph to play nex emulators, just get an OpenPandora... would it possible to make something that could do that cheaper?

I have a Pandora and it's great in that respect. I can easily play games up to the PS1 era on it...
