Autonomous Blimp

Sir Ben Heck,

You should build an autonomous blimp that will avoid objects.  Maybe it could have a little wireless camera so you could have a birds eye view.  This could be pretty easy, a simple suspended platform on a helium balloon or ballons.  A couple of small motors with fan blades on them.  Perhaps an Audrino microcontroller for the "evil brain" and some ultrasonic sensors for detecting obstacles?  Lots of cool components to work with and could be the foundation for very cool user projects...

That's pretty sweet!  And way more elegant than the monstrosity I had envisioned.  I was thinking more "Frankenstein" decor instead of "The Abyss" =D  I still stand by my suggestion and if you put the electronics inside of clear helium balloons then you must also include LED lights!  I think I would certainly like to have something like this flying around my house terrorizing the dogs and irritating my wife!

Build us a blimp por favor!
