I was thinking it'd be really cool to take an existing kindle 3 cover and add a few solar panels to it. Wire them to the micro usb to charge the kindle. So you slide the kindle in the metal slots and then plug in the micro usb to charge. Then I can just lay the cover in the window or on my office desk and it'll recharge what I use throughout the day. I'd do it myself, but I'm not an electrical engineer and I don't want my battery to blow up.
