We're sorry for any frustration caused by the email notification delivery issue we've had on the site. The easiest way for you to make the messages you receive from the site go away is to click the "stop receiving email notifications" options in the Actions box on the right hand side of the site. You've signed up for notifications from the Ben Heck space, and that means you'll receive notices of every time a fellow member posts.
If you want to see ALL of the notifications you're signed up to receive, you can do this by going to your profile (either click on your name in the header or click on "My Account", and then "Profile". In the Actions box on your profile, you'll see "Manage Email Notifications". From there you can see any/all of the notifications you are signed up to recieve and change any of them as you wish.

I've hit the "Stop receiving email notifications" button at least 20 times. And yet I still get emails. I hit it one last time, and I continue to get emails I will not be a happy camper
I have the same problem. I have click "Stop receiving email notifications" but they keep coming. Very frustrating.
Also I keep being told I can't view the original thread. I was trying to go to the original post to say stop receiving email notifications but I can't view it. Major problems at element-14.com

I'm at 121 emails sent from them. I don't want them so I just send them back to where they came from. I keep on getting them even though I've hit all possible buttons to stop getting emails from them, and yet I still get emails from them.

try that or if you use gmail create a filter that auto-deletes the emails.
Those of you who have disabled email but are still getting them, I think it was mentioned further up the thread - we had an issue where notifications were getting stuck on our mail server and have all just gone out. So, changing your email settings will only change it for any NEW notifications going forward. You may get some old ones that are going out as the mail server clears its backlog but should not get any ones for posts after the date you updated your settings.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by having all these messages come out at once and are working hard to correct the problem.
