As I was playing Monster Hunter Tri on my wii, I noticed that i was holding my wiimote and nunchuck just like i would hold a normal controller. I began craving to play the game game with a true controller, but alas, I didnt have a gamecube controller, nor any money to aquire one, BUT I did did have an extra wii mote and a PS2 controller and it gave me this idea. If you look at the nunchuck, it is simply the left side of a PS2 controller, and the wii mote could be....adjusted to be the right side. wouldit be possible to build one? Later this evening i will add pictures and diagrams to help describe and clarify all of this.
Edit: I added the photo. Here is a basic explanation of my badly drawn lines lol :
R1 = C,
R2 = Z,
L1 = 1,
L2 =2,
X = A or B,
Square = A or B,
Start = +,
Select = -,
Analog = Home,
Left analog = Nunchuck Analog,
D-Pad = Wiimote D-pad,
Right Analog stick - Also Wimote D-pad.
I also Considered using Triangle as a "trigger" to simulate shaking the nunchuck, and O to simulate shaking the wiimote, if thats possible. Also, the IR sensor would be where the cable originally was, that way you could still point at the screen when needed. Also, have the speaker in the center, between the 1 and 2 buttons
