how to get a xbox 360 to run a battery supply

is there any way to get a xbox 360 to run a battery pack of any sort i would like to make xbox 360 thats 100% portable and has a hook up so you plug it in and charge it like using a laptop battery pack are something i goolge this and can find anything so maybe some on here can help

May be theres some way to do it, but wouldn't be enough space for the xbox 360 (well, may be if you (or Ben) use the pelican case used on the ps3 could work), and it would be to heavy...

Perhaps a car battery and a power inverter from you local electronics store but its not very practical...

It would require about 12 amps just for the Xbox 360, plus screen. Laptops are meant to run efficiently, the Xbox really isn't.

Its possible, but probably not practical. As ben mentioned, they run at about 12A, and lets say 5A for the screen with a very effiecent DC-DC PSU. If you were to play for 4 hours you would need ~70Ah of battery/s which if you used something like a mobility battery thats 22.5Kg just in battery weight. Laptop batteries are not really designed for such.

Yeah pull a hack5 and hook up a power wheels battery and invert it, them pray it does not explode on you.
