Portable Playstation built in a generic smartbook with 7" screen

Here's the deal, I bought one of those cheap generic smartbook with a 7" screen and I was wondering if I could use the body and screen to make a portable version of the original Playstation or even the Dreamcast. If you think it's possible and have any suggestions or ideas on how to do this please reply, cause any help doing this will be most appreciated.

 

I'll give you the dimensions(it might helps): 213.5 mm Wide x 141.8 mm Deep x 30.5 mm High. The dimensions are for the case closed.

  • The easy but uncool awnser is to download some emulators and a USB adapter for the game system of your choice. The harder but cooler metion is forget the netbook, get the correct size LCD screen, hack, cut and modiffy the original systems bord to fit the size of a portable system including controller hacking and building a power regulartor for some litium battries

    Thanks for the answer, but I'd really love to make a Portable System using the body of a netbook(cause that way it'll look a bit like a Nintendo DS). Now I just need to figure out wich size would be best for it. I thought the 7" one would be cool because of it's size, so the only thing that really needs to be modified is the keyboard. It would be best to replace it with the game controls, thought it might be to much space for it. The main reason I thought of using a smartbook body and screen for this is the cd drive of the Playstation(there's also the fact that it already runs of a lithium battery). If you think it's to big for a portable, please do tell me what size you believe would be best for it.
