Since the XBox controllers plug into a USB port would the following be possible. Make a Corded box that plugs in between the console and controller. It's function to repath the buttons (make the controller programable). Since it plugs into a USB have software that lets you program setups based on game. In the program you can reasign and button, except maybe restrict the analog sticks to only being able to be switched to left or right stick and reverse movement. The setup could be used as needed or allow users to make them dedicated by game. Of couse other functions could be added like tubro, hold, ignore or batches [ie. the A button would cause a combination of button commands with possible delays (like LT + RT, wait .5 secs, Y, X)]. Even simple booleans could be added and IF/Then/Else, AND, NOR ect could be used. This could allow a user to do things like IF A is pressed and X then do action or RT button sets an integer and when the number = to a value then do action (this could be for auto reloading for example). I'd like to setup a function for Homefront once LT has been held for 5 secs. to fire 1 round to toy around with.
