Challenge - Fully automated bar

I'm sorry if this has already been suggested, but I think a good project would be to create an automatic bar where you place your cup under a pouring spout and select your drink from a screen.  The bar would then look up the ingredients to the chosen mixed drink and dispense the proper quantities of each ingredient into the cup.

    Unfortunately, even just a simple electronic faucet you have to be willing to put up with the maintenance headache these devices cause down the line.  Besides the 'cool' factor the practical element is that you can control the volume of drinks and thus, can have tighter accounting of the rate of consumption of your beverages, and thus know closely the cost benefit of your devices and products, and if anyone is getting too many freebies.

    The product you showed just handled shots, what I was trying to get across would be building one that would mix a drink for you.  For example, it would add both the orange juice and vodka to the cup when you chose a screwdriver from the menu.  You do make a good point about maintenance, but many people have a kegging system at home and that requires maintenance too, so I'm sure some people would be willing to put up with it for a smart bar.
