I think you should do an episode with all kinds of different Game Boy Mods in an episode. These are easy projects that are really cheap.
Some ideas:
- How to put LSDJ and other programs on an USB cartridge [cartridge can be found here or here]
- How to put a backlight in a Game Boy [Backlights can be found here, here and here]
- How to make a custom case [Leds for clear Game Boys can be found here, custom buttons here, here and here]
- How to pro sound mod your Game Boy [1/8" kit or RCA kit but these are sold out at the moment, but you should be able to find one in another store]
- How to record a song
- How to make samples and kits and put them on your cartridge
- How to bi-vert or polarize your screen
- ...
Remember, these are just ideas, you can decide which you want to do. If someone else wants to see something else, reply on this discussion.
This isn't going to be a challenge if you just use an original Game Boy, so I would preffer a Pocket, but if you would like to use an original, I won't stop you.
I think this wou usld be a cool build because chiptune music and retro gaming is popular at the moment.
