Does anyone know what mechanical CAD program(s) Ben uses? Ben's portable 3D printer is highly mechanical, but I did not notice any information about the mechanical CAD system used to design it.

Ben doesn't use a mechanical CAD program. If you watch the video's you are seeing all the tools he uses. Primarally Adobe Illustrator to make, by hand, multiple views of his models.
