Would you buy this?

So as I am building an xbox 360 laptop would you buy a shell with monitor already installed and detaioled instructions on how to install the xbox?  If so how much would you pay for it?  I am asking because I know most people have a slim the would rather put in and it would cost less money so I was wondering the intrest level.  Thanks for any responses.

  • Although the XBOX 360 laptop is novel, I question its practicality.

     

    I prefer to use it on a large wide-screen TV or monitor. Under what circumstances would I want to take a 360 on the go? A lan party or competition is all I can think of. I would assume that the LCD would be a great choice for people in school who have a lot of time on their hands, and want to game locally with friends. For those folks, it will be highly coveted.

  • I think it would be a good idea, even better (if not bulky) if it could be designed to accept the xbox as a whole unit with out needing to open it up. As in drop it in and connect the wires, I think alot of people hold back from modding consoles because they don't want to risk breaking it.

     

    I used to keep my xbox original in a fitted flight case, with the monitor fitted to the lid and just routed the air and cables. It was bulky and ugly but I could remove the xbox any time I wanted.

  • Yeah it would be about 2 inches thick and all it would require is screwing some parts in.  And the laptop is more for vacations as I travel a lot and its nice for that.
