Mr Heck, please give me an idea for a 360 mod

Backwards right? image

Recently, my xbox 360's warranty was permanently voided, it hit the ground hard, plastic case shattered, but still works fine. I'm not super creative, but I do fancy myself as mild modder, so how can I resist this warranty-voiding-guilt free opportunity. I just can't think of what to do with the thing, I considerd just bare steal case, but that involves no modding lol.

Any ideas? Anyone?

I always thought it would be cool to stick a 360 inside an old VHS video recorder, front loader type so the CD drawer can come out the tape slot - old fashioned blue LED display.  Would be fairly straightforward - lots of space in there to fit a 360, fairly easy to strip out as well and plenty room for better cooling.  You could go even more old school and make it a Betamax!

One benefit would be that no theif would bother with an old VHS player image

Try transferring the Xbox internals to another case of your liking - using an antiquated case is a cool idea - for a mild modder this is a great starting point.
