Challenge - Arduino BIOS

Hello Ben, The microcontroller on the arduino got me thinking, Can you make a BIOS Chip using a Motherboard and the Arduino Microchipam? If so, it would be really

cool if you could program the Chip to make a BIOS (rather Basic Input-Output System) In Arduino Code?

This is a cool idea, right now I am working on programming an arduino as a shell. It recives inputs from a computer then translates and excutes that command bassed on the BIOS I loaded up from the eeprom.

I'm not enough of a programmer to do this.

But out BASIC pocket computer was kind of along these lines.

To do it right, you'd best be off programming an MCU in machine laguage, for speed.
