TBHS build ideas - 3 suggested builds

Hello Ben,

Have a few build ideas for the Ben Heck Show that I want to run by you:

1. An automatic Shirt Folder:

You know these plastic shirt folders that As-Seen-On-TV infomercials sell. Well how about you make one that uses a series of small motors to actually do the folding... and be programmable to have multiple fold patterns. I have attached an image of the as-seen-on-tv gizmo that I am talking about

2. Build your own gaming rig at a budget and optimized for steam downloads. The modding on this project is more aesthetic, in that you are designing a BEN HECK PC case but completely to your specs and using the materials you prefer to use (plastic instead of metal since you can't weld). You can make it water cooled and maybe even optimized for LAN parties. You will be using a lot of pre-ordered elements but you still have the freedom to create your own internal ventilation system for the pc and HDDs

3. Google Glasses like HUD spectacles preferably designed for gaming so using maybe 2 small mounted LCDs that attach to a head mount for immersive gaming. You would design the headmount (nothing as confining as a motorcycle helmet) and would attach the lcds to work either with a battery so that the unit is wireless but could hook up to a console or wired. (a little more functional than the image attached.)

I hope some of these ideas inspire a show or two and thanks for all the fish (errr mods)

Regards,

Mahmoud Taji

I think the 3d glasses would be a great idea since the 3d visualization is getting very popular recently.
