Hello, I am looking for a video camera I ca use with the AVR xmega microcontrollers. I want to save video onto an sd card an occasionally pull a still and send it over uart to another controller that will then send it wirelessly via Xbee. I have looked at several of the options on sparkfun and can't find enough information out there about how doable this is. I also want to look at using a usb webcam either using the lufa framework of bypassing the usb and capturing the video from somewhere else on the board. Of course this would be highly dependent on the webcam I use(probably one from one of those broken laptops under the desk over there). Anyone have experience hacking webcams?
