Ben Hecks Xbox 360 Laptop and Other Console Designs

I'm new to electronics building in general but I really like the idea of an xbox 360 laptop. Is there a design that would be useful to someone new that requires minimum parts and or knowledge to build? Or are these laptops available for purchase at a reasonable price i.e(The price of an xbox if purchased from the store). Alternatively, are there any designs/documents on learning how to build other machines like a portable gamecube etc?

I have the time and patience to learn the required knowledge behind it, I just need somewhere to begin!

Thanks,

Euden

I am also interested on your request on a portable gamecube thing. This piece of hardware
had been out off the spot light for some time and it deserves some credits.

I've seen lots of people asking for one and hoping Ben Heck would take the challenge.

The Wii is a good enough gamecube replacment.  It has the ability to play gamecube games and has connections for the controllers.  Ben has already made a Wii laptop.  Not sure if it was in an episode or not, I thought it was.

Yes, Wii can replace Gamecube and your making a good point. But on the other hand, I think gamecube fans want to play their gamecube games on its original console, same as for me. There're 2 consoles now in my hands, thinking to get rid of the other one and thought, "hey, if I can modify this to a portable one or make it smaller and compact, it would be more convenient!" I just felt sad because of the lack of popularity of gamecube though it has pretty good games.
