If you want a free open source 3d printer got to makibox.cpm 200$ for acrylic all the way upto 450$ heated bed stainless steel basic kit 200USD
Hey Daniel
Do you have a makibox printer? If so what kind of print quality are you getting out of it. If the quality is good then that isnt a bad price. I looks like the print size is a little smaller than most. I know i spend around 500 when i build my first one years back.

Hey Nate I don't own one but I know there small but the saying is small but mighty and they really are very good printers for the price just the lead time at the moment is 6-10 weeks the. Shipping time
Remember 9/10 you're going to be printing SMALL THINGS.
Don't get hung up on build platform size.
It looks like they are not driving the far ends of each axis and one axis does not have a linear shaft on the far end (I could be wrong I just looked at the video on a low-res), which could save a lot of cost. I suppose it works because the size is a bit smaller, so for that size it seems it was a good design choice for them.
Yeah I know but I think there a bit overhyped because 300GBP for a reel of abs and I only printed a raspberry pi case
