Show Idea - Star Wars style drink dispenser

Imagine if "the force" or "the schwartz" for you spaceball fans, really existed and you could use it to grab a drink!  My thought is you could have a bar like platform that you could put your open hand over a sensor or use a kinect to detect the action and then a soda can or beer bottle could shoot across the surface into your hand, as if you've summoned it.  Maybe you could put magnents on bottom of the drinks and a master magnent could drag the drink via motor along the path.  I don't know.  I just think it would have a nice visual impact of a drink sliding across a bar into the thirsty patrons open hand!

This would be great if I had a home bar or something to put it in.

Couldn't you make a pneumatic piston for under your "can cooler" project?  Add a speaker that could play a clip from "Empire Strikes Back" when Han gets frozen in carbonite when the piston retracts (lowering the can into the cooler), plays Darth Vader "All too easy" when the can reaches a set temperature, and plays a clip from "Return of the Jedi" when R2D2 shoots the lightsaber to Luke on the sandbarge when it fires the can into the air.
