ben should make a raspberry pi laptop
It's not really worth doing. The Raspberry Pi's big win is its size and price. If he incorporated it into a laptop, in the end he'd have a larger, much less powerful, and not much cheaper priced laptop/netbook.
Plus you can just plug it into something like the Motorola Lapdock and boom you're done.
I think his previous episode with the mame system was a much better suited build for the Pi.
Instead of making a "laptop", I think many people would love to see a "clean" mod of a Motorola Atrix Lapdock that brings out HDMI and USB sockets and some nice way to temporarily attach the rPi and still keep the clean, sleek appearance of the lapdock. Currently people are making mods with either custom designed boards or spaghetti cables that cost $20-30 extra when a simple modification to change out the two plugs to two sockets would allow standard cables to be used and make a great portable rPi for taking to events.
That's my wish for the Ben Heck challenge...
