I have a laptop, and it's the only computer I have. I also have a bunch of perephrials I hook it up to when I'm home. They are: a 21" monitor, speakers, (a printer, a mouse, a keyboard, an external hdd and an optical drive) * connected throug a hub + LAN. Now, connecting all the stuff to my laptop takes some time, and the laptop itself occupies valuable space on my desktop. So I was wondering if it's possible to mod a monitor so that it could carry a laptop inside of it using some slot loading mechanism, like you've used in your nintendo mod. Turning on a laptop inside a monitor is a problem as well, maybe some wirieess solution? I've seen some guy used car anti-theft system to turn on his pc while he's on his way home. And to make things really awesome an external videocard can be hooked up, just need to make a miniPCI-e port on a laptop somehow...
The project is big an time consuming, so even a piece of advice will be appreciated.
