Viewer Challenge: RaspberryPi IP-Based POE Intercom system 3 or more Pi's

Ben, Try this one. Take 3 or more Pi's. Power them POE. Then Turn them into 3 Desktop Intercoms that can page one another seperately or all together via IP Address Have buttons which when pushed, page a single station and an "all page" button as well. Video would be nice as well.

The first challenge I see is is converting the POE to a format the Raspberry Pi is able to accept. I didn't have enough time to fully research PoE to say how hard that would be.

If you are talking about something like the PoE Splitter TL-POE10R I can agree. If you are talking about something ghetto like POE (Spare wires) Injector and Splitter adaptors I'd want to be a long way away from those devices.
