Hi All,
I'm a big Ben Heck fan, and love it when he builds viewer ideas, so here's mine.
I was driving the kids to a fun park for school hol's (Kryal Castle - not bad) and we where going through the Burbs, and stopping for lights at (what seemed) every 1 km. Every time we stopped I had to turn the stereo down, and vise versa when we took off. I'm driving a 4wd so the tire noise is quite loud. Anyway I was thinking that it would be cool if I had some sort of device that automatically adjusted the volume of the stereo by sampling the ambient noise level inside the cabin. In my case the the stereo has a simple round knob that could be turned via some sort of motor or mechanical device.
Cheers,
Gerry
