Challenge - Build a Raspberry Pi Baseball Scoreboard

Running scoreboards for my little brothers baseball team can be a hassle. On the scoreboard module you can only add to the score and you cannot subtract. Also have lights out on the board displaying the information. Can you build a Raspberry Pi scoreboard by coding a program and using the IO to make buttons for strike, guest score up, guest score down, etc. As well can you add an edit guest score and edit home score with a number pad. Finally enclose the Pi in what looks like a regular scoreboard (Brand is Electro-Mech Scoreboards) and finally use HDMI to output the scoreboard to a monitor.

Sounds like a good project! Though it could easily do it even with the wimpiest microcontroller, if not even glue logic!

Might good for a future episode.
