So you have a shelf full of little bins with LEDs on them. They are all controlled on a web server. Each bin has a number on it and is designated to one part. You go on the web server and type in the name of the component you want to find the name is then transfered into the number code.     You could use QR codes or normal bar codes, Have the codes list all the parts in the bin, scan with an android phone to bring up the list, pick the part you want and having it pull up the data sheet.

    Not If you have your components orginzed. All you need is one Bar Code to list everything in that one box.
