Ben,

 

I am facinated by your Ghost Squad (America's most haunted) pinball machine. You have made a couple of boards for it, and I think it would be really cool if you made a video on how to biuld one, program one, and how to use it for other stuff.

I know you have already made a video like this, and I really like it. Thats why I want you to make another video, except this time, I want you to get more into the detail of building the board, and programming it for things like the DMD, the levels, and the parts for the actual pinball machine.

 

I would like it if you did some of this, but you dont have to. I would just like to see another video about building a pinball machine.

  • Difficult task.  It is a very involved process that takes a ton of Ben's time.  Really hard to break down into episodes, especially ones with a how to goal.  He has the custom rotisserie he made, the dual processor controller board, the light and switch matrix under the playfield, all of the electromechanical controls like pop bumpers, flippers, magnet catch, then the playfield itself with its design, ramps, targets, goals, modes, etc.  I'm not sure if the cross over audience for his show and pinball warrant the time it would take to do a proper how to on that project, especially an after the fact one (as most of that is done). 

     

    I'd keep watching for pinball updates on his show and his twitter though, you might get more insight into the process and get to see in progress pictures and videos (he ustreams it a lot).
