The idea I had for an interesting build is an electronic gravestone. It would want to have large battery, and it's own solar panel to recharge that battery. When the battery is charged it would want to have a small LCD screen in order to display some custom text and maybe even a video (sound would be nice). When the battery isn't charged it would want to have a low power state and not really respond until it's regained enough of a charge. I got the idea from a guy who does gravestones with QR codes cut into them linking to a website, it would be nice to have something that didn't rely on a website which will no doubt be temporary, plus the guy is charging a monthly fee.
The way I imagine it is asomething that looks similar to a regular gravestone, but cased in the stone below or above the name it would have a little screen and a button to press which would play a short video in memory of the person. The solar panel is so that if it loses power or is no longer maintained it could still play the little video, but a power source running in through the bottom would be nice as well. This would probably make a good haloween episode.
