Hello Making Portable RasPi

Hi as im building a portable Raspberry Pi i was wondering if if these items are compatable

 

Screen

SainSmart 3.2" TFT LCD Display+Touch Panel+PCB adapter SD Slot for Arduino 2560: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories

Battery

Don't know suggestions?

 

And anything else

 

I'm wanting minimal parts. And cost under £70 Preferably under £50

 

Thanks and suggest any things you may need or better items

    We used what's commonly called a car backup camera. 3.5" LCDs are fairly similar, you might try other sources besides Amazon. Needs to be compsite NTSC (or in your case PAL) not HDMI

    That screen you are looking at is brilliant!!! Very clear display and responsive touch screen. To get it working, follow these instructions:

    If you have the version with 40 pins (which I think this one is as I ordered exactly the same one off Amazon) let me know and I'll send you the revised pinout, the circuit diagram on the page is the same, it just needs connecting to different pins on the screen.

    You need to order 4 chips which from Farnell cost a total of about £2 so brilliant value for money too image
