Dear ben heck. since we all would whant to create awesome atmel project with usb, but lot of people can't get to XMEGA or at90usbXXX processors.
I chalange you to make simple project using atmel atmega and V-USB.
This would be very useful for hacking gamepads, creating your own game inspired low budget controllers, or creating output from any other project.

wow. thanks a lot. I tought only xmega and at90usbBLABLA have usb support.
now i figured out that atmega32 has direct usb support.
But it will be good to see it on the show anyway. something like realy realy realy low budget project. 
PS. I should realy check out every single possibility. yea people are right about rushing into conclusions.
I am an avid gamer.
I would love to product test it when done.

look this thing won't be as product of any kind, but you can download the code from: V-USB - A Firmware-Only USB Driver for Atmel(r) AVR(r) Microcontrollers
there you can find projects such as keyb, and mouse controller.
you can then use it for hacking old consoles, such as these witch i found laying in one pc shop. they said that these aren't supported anymore so i can get them for free.
so it's good idea to make them work trough usb again.
