I am a 16 year old boy planning to go to college early. I was pondering whether to get a laptop computer or a desktop computer. Of the two i made a pros and cons chart.
Desktop deciding factor pros and cons:
Pros:
interchangeability of parts (easy hardware fix/upgrade)
more options for hardware
can build yourself
Cons:
stationary
big
Laptop deciding factor pros and cons:
Pros:
portable
small
Cons:
non-interchangeable parts
fewer options for hardware
difficult to build yourself.
i wanted a computer that was portable like a laptop and had hardware like a desktop. a desktopcomputer that can be used anywhere. this is the pro/con chart:

decent sized
now you're probably thinking "Why should i make a portable desktop? i already made a portable gaming system." here's why:
1. The Ben Heck i know of wouldn't pass up a challenge like this
2. A game console is one thing. a PC computer is a whole 'nother system.
3. Its the end of the year and people are in the giving spirit
4.Why the Heck not?
so as i throw down the gauntlet i urge thee to pick it up proudly.
